Hello, and welcome to my website! I am humbled and honored that you’ve stopped by to take a look. I received my first camera as a gift when I was 9 years old and have been thoroughly enchanted by this amazing hobby ever since. Over the years I have tried just about every type of camera from point and shoots to large format and utilize both film and digital today. I was born in Aurora, IL but moved to Colorado when I was 19 to be closer to the Rocky Mountains that I love so much. After almost two decades out west, I moved back to Illinois and currently reside in Chicago’s western suburbs. I’m married to an amazingly talented woman who teaches me new things every day. Beyond photography, I also enjoy traveling, music and taking in other forms of art.
